I know this sounds really stupid, but I have to ask: Why can't there be more than nine Walkers? I know that Elrond said there would be nine Walkers against the nine Wraiths, but isn't the point of fanfiction to see what would happen if you changed something? Couldn't it be like "There should be ten Walkers to set out against the Nine Wraiths, because we should outnumber the enemy"? *ducks flying three-in-one LOTR book* Sorry, but I have to ask!!

Symmetry! Symmetry! Elrond was very concerned about the symmetry, and nine seems the prefect number, seeing as they wanted to be sneaky about this.
If you want to add someone to the fellowship, hen you need to add someone to the ringwraiths. If you look in the challenges section, you'll find an idea for how to do that.
