You mention here the Half-elves, and list them, but do you count Elrond's children as full-blood Elves? Arwen, Elladan, and Elrohir are not in your list. Ooh, and I missed someone else: Elwing.
To prove that this is really me, I've found you some typos.
Under "The People of Beor":
Quote:| They are steadfast and loyal. As a rule, and don't often break promises. |
|
Quote:| The Haradrim their own language ... |
|
And under "The People of Hador" - not really a typo:
Quote:| They are known for their love and talent for horses. |
|
It could be better written, perhaps, "... their love for and talent with horses."?

Elrond's children aren't full-blooded elves, but they aren't exactly Halfelves either. They are 84.4% Elf, 3.1% Maia, and 18.8% Human. Elrond is 56.3% Elf, 6.3% Maia, and 37.5% Human. Elwing is 62.5% Elf, 12.5% Maia, and 25% Human. I reserved the title Halfelf for the children of one elven parent and one human parent.
I have that family tree mapped out down to Elrond's children, and I'm thinking about adding it to the website some day.
Thanks for the corrections!

Their father was a Halfelf.

I wondered that the essay only mentioned the three houses of the elf-friends, what about the Eastern men who served Morgoth and Sauron?

They are men of Bëor, who traveled east and south and were tricked into believing Sauron is Eru; if I recall correctly. Here's an essay focusing on the Haradrim and Easterlings in much greater detail. http://lalaith.vpsurf.de/Tolkien/Fr_Men.html
